Euraxiel has developed a data dictionary for Cobol applications.
Its main functionalities are :
- management of entities :
- data,
- data structures,
- working and code copybooks,
- management of links between data – data structures – copybooks – programs
- generation of the copybooks corresponding to the data structures stored – upon request using the dictionary
- generation of the DDLs corresponding to the data structures stored – upon request using the dictionary
- the dictionary is viewable and can be accessed for real-time updating.
This data dictionary lies at the heart of Euraxiel solution for the migration of Pacbase™ applications into native structured Cobol code (in order to cope with the end of the maintenance of this CASE tool.
